If I remember right… Jeeze, it’s been about a year and a half ago since this show was recorded. I tell you what a bad idea is: recording live shows that you don’t release the audio for because you forgot you recorded it. Second bad idea: Not taking proper photos at a show and the only shot of Future Islands that you have is this enclosed masterpiece.

I remember this being one of my first shows at Healthy Times Fun Club and it being an enjoyable show. I remember the singer, Samuel Herring, took a shower whilst local to Seattle act Adventurer played. He came out rather clean- opposed to sweaty and soaked prior to his shower.

Future Islands is from Baltimore, Maryland. Their performance was done mostly with the lights off with only a few LED’s shining on members and maybe a tiny lamp. Herring was moving all about with enough shakes to frighten a Ketchup bottle complimenting his vocal intensity. It was kind of like if Joe Cocker had a synth-rock band except less drugged out but still as fantastic if not more so.
