I think this was the first time that PETS played and up to this point I had only heard Rachael talk about how they’ve been practicing. That she was kind of nervous about singing in the band. The band consisted of Steve Hilmes, Tim Leingang, Rachael Thompson, Andy Evans, and Pat Mackey. I believe the lineup of the band is slightly different but I’m not quite sure.

Despite the fact that I missed most of theri set after friend Jessie said “Hey, Kenneth, do you want to go drink at the bar” (or something like that), I remember this night pretty well. How it was special to me that most of so closely associated with 321 were there. I had moved out of town to continue my education and since leaving had missed this space and my friends.

The goofyness associated with the Christmas songs they played I think added to how special this night was.It felt good to back around friends in an environment that so heavily influenced who I am- still influences, actually. It may have been the last time most of everyone was together before the venue/art space closed down that following February.
