Almost one year ago a great thing happened in a different part of this fair country we address as the United States. In Springfield, MO, two individuals, Paul Benson and Nicholas Wilbur, erected a music festival called Fontee Fest.
Now in our year of 2009 these same two individuals along with a slough of others are putting on a music festival of a larger magnitude. Fontee Fest II (the II is for 2009) this year is taking place at the Department of Safety in Anacortes, Washington, and featuring a number of amazing musicians of the Pacific Northwest and elsewhere.

Tickets for the event can be purchased online at Brown Paper Tickets or at the Department of Safety the days of. Tickets are a bit different in price if the $20 full weekend pass doesn’t suit your fancy for whatever reason. Once again, it’s from February 27th until March 1st.
