Girl Band consists of three combined superpowers: Rebecca (of Watercolor Paintings), Michelle (of Glass Cake), and Mallory (of Backpack).

The story behind this show goes like this:
Chris Adolf wanted to play a house show in Seattle. I asked a few friends if they could host Bad Weather California but found out that Olympia was as good as they could get. There’s these things called Mikrofest’s in Olympia that are generally ran by some folks at Brown Interior Music and they happen at various times during the year. This wasn’t one of them but the show setup was in the same style; seven to eight bands play in one day. …

Whatever state the music and DIY scene is in Vancouver, Canada, I am unclear of what it would be. One night is hardly enough to really investigate it thoroughly but from what I gathered, things are pretty underground in regards to shows put on.
